Usage

Place {{Off topic|date=October 2023}} at the top of sections that seems unrelated or insufficiently related to the page's topic (if the date is omitted, bots will add it later).

If relevant, explain why on the article's talk page.

• This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:All articles that may have off-topic sections and the appropriate dated subcategory of Category:Wikipedia articles that may have off-topic sections.
• This template is a self-reference.
• This template should not be substituted.

Template parameters

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

1	1 article	The name of an article which is about the topic discussed in the off-topic section. Do not include square brackets.	Page name	optional
